Dr Deepak Dhokia and Dr Shaminder Kaur are both accredited and affiliated with local antenatal units (Eastern Health and Monash Health) to provide Shared Antenatal Care at Ashburton Family Practice. Drs Dhokia and Kaur  have worked in the specialities of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and hold postgraduate Diploma’s in these subjects.

 

They are available to help guide you with pre-conception, early pregnancy problems, organising pregnancy screening tests, sub fertility issues, mental health during pregnancy and antenatal support through your pregnancy in conjunction with local Antenatal Units of your choice.

 

This care will of course continue to encompass the post-natal period and care of your newborn (baby checks and immunisations are also offered). We encourage you to ring the reception to enquire further.
